Like father like son

I love snuggling with my papa and being silly. We have so much fun together. My favorite silly think to do is to grab his mouth and giggle. Mama keeps my nails trimmed because if they get too long I scratch papa. The next time I see you I might try this trick because I think it is hilarious... you've been warned.

Who are you yawning at.

I have noticed a trend developing... and I am not sure how I feel about it. Papa and Mama like to copy my noises and faces. Are they mocking me? Hmmmm, perhaps. Mama says she does it to relate to me and to let me know that she is listening. Some times it freaks me out and I just stare at them, and other times I ignore it. I think they just want to be cool like me. I am inventing all kinds of awesome noises and faces lately which make my parents laugh. It is fun learning to communicate. My little coo-s and cries are evolving which is exciting. I have also started to copy the faces Mama and Papa make for me. It is a fun time in the Gray house.

Play that funky music white boy.

Mama and Papa like to play music and sing me. I usually just stare at them but lately I have started smiling and responding to their singing and dancing. I really like listening to music. When I want to relax Jack Johnson and Bob Marley are my favorites and when I want to dance I like oldies. Papa plays classical music for me when I am falling asleep. What kind of music do you like?

P.S. Did you hear my hiccups? Mama still thinks they are the cutest.

This is a picture of me and my papa. My mama loves taking photos of us. She keeps telling me that her heart overflows with joy when she sees us together like this. I really enjoy snuggling with papa because I fit in his arms like a puzzle piece. He is also really good at swaddling me and changing my diaper. He is already a great dad. I am one lucky little man.

Hi friends, 

I did a really good job of sleeping, eating and pooping last night, which made my mama and papa very happy. At one point mama woke up to check on me and my papa and I were sleeping in the same position. My mama keeps telling me how wonderful my papa is. She says that she never knew she could love someone as much as she does and continue to have that love grow each day. She also told me that watching him hold me makes her happier than she ever imagined. I think my papa is pretty cool as well. We are getting used to diaper changes which makes both of us happy. I also like being held by his big comfy arms, it is great to have so much room to snuggle. Mama and papa make a great team, they are working very hard to take care of each other as much as they are taking care of me. We are a happy little family.

Once the sun comes out we are going to go for a walk. Right now it currently looks like it may rain. I guess the weather here in Colorado is rather fickle. My mama told me that the locals say, "if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes." So I think we will wait 5 minutes and then go outside. :)
